I have extreme dental anxiety and was completely terrified walking into this office. Everyone in that office was SO kind and calming! They were so understanding and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Giesy is truly wonderful and by the time I left his office, we had a plan, which included anesthesia, and I was very pleased, and most importantly, feeling encouraged for the first time in a long time. My procedure went as easily as planned; shout out to Elite Anesthesia; and I felt like I was there for two minutes. Highly, HIGHLY, recommend Dr. Giesy Family Implant and Dentistry!

I had moved my entire family of five to this practice last year. The dentist is super nice and seems like a great guy. However, his office staff is the worst that I’ve ever worked with, especially the lady that works in the billing department. My first interaction with her was when I brought my daughter in and they had to perform a root canal.- when I was paying the bill. I asked her why one tooth was more expensive than the other tooth and she continued to chastise me and say well there are teeth that have more roots than others in a very snarky response, as if somebody who does not work in dental understood this. My daughter also went in for a root canal and they ended up having to extract the tooth failed to tell us that she needed to come back to get stitches removed and she ended up having pain about a month later and they said oh sorry we dropped the ball on this one. The last straw was when my newly turned 18-year-old daughter went in for some work, and they failed to tell her that this was not going to be covered by our insurance because this work was already done previously at another dental clinic. To this day I continue to receive invoices in the mail saying that this is

Extremely competent and very personable! The entire staff is amazing as well. Hands down the best dental practice I have been a patient of and I’ve lived in numerous places across the country!

I have been with Dr. Giesy for 15+ years and the service is extraordinary. It is so wonderful to have a singular location to do routine maintenance as well as implants. My hygienist Kacia has been managing my cleanings for years and her knowledge and experience really shows in her work. I also love how personable everyone is. They really do treat you like family.

Referred by a friend after my regular dentist told me I needed a few root canals and an implant -yikes. Tacoma was a bit out of the way for us but I’m glad I trusted the referral, becauseDr Giesy and his staff are literally the BEST. Like most people I fear the process but this place was made for helping patients relax. Very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere the moment you web in. Dr Giesy took him time diagnosing and explaining my issues and care plan. They offer sedation dentistry and that’s a life saver especially when you have anxiety around dental dams and needles and having teeth pulled from your skull! Oh, their IV inserter lady Lisa is a dream -didn’t feel a thing, despite being prepared for the worst…?! And especially Leah who was the kindest dental assistant ever, helping me through the entire process with patience and empathy. What a dream team!
